The Insider - Rudy Galetti: Conte-Lukaku PSG sensation; Chelsea ask for Brozovic; Arsenal Tielemans confidence

Juventus are thinking about a successor for Max Allegri; Antonio Conte and Romelu Lukaku together again?; Youri Tielemans and Marcelo Brozovic, objects of desire for midfield. Here are some of the main stories over the last few days of the transfer market from TribalFootball's transfer expert Rudy Galetti.

JUVENTUS - A REPLACEMENT FOR ALLEGRI IS READY

Eliminated from the Coppa Italia by their all-time rival, Inter, out of the Scudetto race since the beginning of the year, despite the cancellation of the penalty of 15 points, relegated to the Europa League after a horrible Champions League group stage, the 2022/23 season for Juventus won't certainly be remembered as one of the best.

The only hope to win a trophy for Massimiliano Allegri is linked precisely to the UEFA Europa League, a competition in which the Bianconeri reached the semi-final and will now face Sevilla in the double challenge to reach the final match in Budapest.

For Allegri, to win a trophy could mean convincing the Juventus management to continue with him next season. Waiting to understand how the journey in the Europa League will end, the Bianconeri have begun to evaluate some alternatives for the bench. It is no coincidence that in recent days contact with Raffaele Palladino - the current Monza coach who is producing excellent performances leading the team of President Silvio Berlusconi - has intensified.

The former Juventus player is climbing the hierarchy of the Bianconeri and has currently become the name at the top of the list to replace Allegri in case of a farewell in June.

COULD CONTE AND LUKAKU BE REUNITED?

Two years together at Inter, an incredible 2nd place behind Juventus in the first season and then the victory of the Scudetto, the 19th in the history of the Nerazzurri, won by dominating Serie A. Without forgetting an incredible Europa League final loss against Sevilla. What Antonio Conte – on the bench – and Romelu Lukaku – on the pitch – did together at Inter is explained very well by statistics: 95 appearances, with 64 goals for the Belgian forward, 102 benches and only 15 defeats, with 63% of successes, for the Italian coach.

A winning duo who - once separated in June 2021 – shattered their power: Conte, after taking over the Tottenham bench in November of the same year, was sacked in 16 months without making a mark at Spurs. Exactly like Lukaku did at Chelsea and, with his new return to Inter, things are far from getting better. Now, however, the couple could reconnect at PSG: it won't be easy, but the Italian coach is among the options on Luis Campos' list, immediately after the main target Zinedine Zidane.

Likewise, Big Rom has been followed for over a year by the Parisian management, desperately looking for a striker. At the moment there's only interest, both in the player and in the coach, but the upcoming weeks could hold important news for those hoping to see Lukaku and Conte together again.

TIELEMANS - ALL OF EUROPE ON HIS TRAIL

We talked about him a few weeks ago: Youri Tielemans will be one of the most courted players in the next transfer market session. At the end of the season the Belgian player will leave Leicester as a free agent and is looking for a new destination where he can play a key role.

Arsenal, at the moment, are pushing for the midfielder to convince him to embrace their project and the confidence in the Gunners' environment is growing, but the club coached by Mikel Arteta is not the only one in the race.

With the farewell of Jude Bellingham - as told - BVB could be the ideal team for Youri, but we shouldn't underestimate the interest also from Newcastle: the Magpies showed this season how solid is their sports plan and not by chance they are now one step away from qualifying for the next UEFA Champions League. Anyway, even his possible arrival in Serie A cannot be excluded: some top Italian clubs are on his track. In particular, Napoli - now virtually Champions of Italy - and AS Roma are making internal evaluations of the opportunity of taking concrete actions towards the Leicester midfielder.

BROZOVIC COULD LEAVE INTER MILAN AT END OF SEASON

Inter are still fully in the race to win the Champions League and the 2-leg semi-final against AC Milan represents a new historic event for the Nerazzurri club - after 2003 and 2005, years of the other two "Euroderbies of Milan". However, despite the focus on the elite European competition, Inter management does not lose sight of their market issues.

The Nerazzurri are ready to listen to offers for players such as Joaquin Correa, Denzel Dumfries and especially Marcelo Brozovic. Since his return from the injury, the Croatian midfielder hasn't reached his pre-World Cup levels and this makes his sale in the summer more than possible. His profile, together with Andre Onana, entered the conversations between Inter and Chelsea when speaking of the situation linked to the future of Romelu Lukaku. Not only that: in Europe many other clubs are interested in Marcelo, like Barcelona – with whom there was also a talk of a possible swap with Franck Kessie, given that the Ivorian midfielder is not part of Xavi's technical project. And there is also PSG.

However, the French club only had contacts with the player's agent and not with Inter, because the Croatian, to date, isn't the main target to strengthen their midfield. That's why the future of Brozovic is still to be decided.

KIM SAYS GOODBYE TO ITALY? NAPOLI IDENTIFY REPLACEMENT

We can say it now: Napoli is one step away from winning the Scudetto, the third in their history after the two previous won in the era of Diego Armando Maradona. Celebrations all over the city have already begun and, on Thursday, against Udinese, the conquest of the trophy could be official. A mere formality and then, for the Neapolitan management, it will be time to dive into the issues of the transfer market.

Even if there will be attempts to tear away big names such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen, one of the main topics to be resolved certainly concerns the defence. Kim Min-jae is among the players that could leave Napoli in June. It's not about the call to military service that will see him engaged in South Korea for three weeks, but it's about the money.

If a suitable offer arrives, Napoli could decide to part ways with the former Fenerbahce centreback. The future Italian champions, in the event of his sale, have identified a possible replacement born in 1998, Danilho Doekhi. Now at Union Berlin, the Dutch player is followed by some important clubs in the Premier League and Bundesliga, and Inter Milan are interested as well.

However, Napoli seem to have a privileged position at the moment: everything will depend on Kim's future, but Doekhi is, undoubtedly, the first choice for the Azzurri.
