Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola felt his group of players deserve a well earned honour.

The Cherries have managed their highest points total in the Premier League in history.

A 3-0 win against Brighton meant they are now in 10th position and have 48 points from 35 games.

Post-game, Iraola shared: “I think this group deserved after what they've done this season, I think they deserved to arrive to this point.

“Especially considering how we started.

“I think the players have been growing into the season.

“They are finishing really well.

“And we still have three more games.

“Difficult, we know, but we will try to finish it well also."
