Southampton are trying to beat the 7pm deadline to bring 20 year-old centre-back Kevin Danso to the club from Bundesliga outfit Augsburg.
Danso has a great back story, having moved to Germany after playing as a kid for both Reading and MK Dons, reports BBC Sport.
