Real Madrid, Man Utd monitoring Obi Mikel Chelsea frustration

Real Madrid and Manchester United are being linked with Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel. The Nigeria international has concerns over his future in Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti's plans and is seeking clear the air talks, says the News of the World.

His plight, according to Spanish sources, has alerted the interest of United and Real.

Obi Mikel actually signed for United, before he was allowed to move to Chelsea after leaving Lyn.

Real Madrid coach Mourinho worked with Obi Mikel at Chelsea and would welcome the chance for a reunion.

The last first team appearance for Obi Mikel was on February 6 against Liverpool. The midfielder loves Chelsea, says friends, but must consider his future as he wants to be a first team regular.
