Real Madrid are watching Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

The Uruguay international has been linked with Barcelona this season as an alternative to Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

However, A Bola says Real have now joined Barca in their interest.

Nunez has been in sensational form for Benfica this season, where coach Jorge Jesus has already dubbed him among the best young talents he's worked with.

The 21 year-old was playing under the noses of Real and Barca at Almeria before his move to Benfica last year.
