Real Madrid ace Ronaldo demands 'clause compromise' from Florentino

Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo is demanding an adjustment to his current deal.

While he and agent Jorge Mendes continue to push for a pay-rise, a compromise has also been put forward by the player's camp.

Speaking on El Chiringuito, pundit Adu Aguirre revealed Ronaldo wants the opportunity to explore other offers at the end of every season.

Aguirre explained 'Ronaldo would like a clause allowing him to leave the club at the end of each season', it's felt if Real president Florentino Perez refuses to consider a pay-rise then he should accept an escape option.

Ronaldo's current deal, signed just over a year ago, runs to 2021 and is worth €21m-a-year - which falls well short of the earnings of Lionel Messi (Barcelona) and Neymar (PSG).
