Premier League clubs are in contact with Bayern Munich for Niklas Sule.

The Germany defender is off contract in June and has stepped back from negotiations over new terms.

Sport1 says English clubs have been in contact as Sule's deal runs down.

Chelsea and Manchester United made enquiries after Sule last summer.

Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger is a Bosman target for Bayern, with the Germany international a potential replacement for Sule.
