Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri says he enjoyed being in ritiro.

The coach and players have been in ritiro this week ahead of their clash with Salernitana.

Mazzarri said today: "I'll say something strange: I enjoyed being in ritiro, at least I could see them and talk to the team, when I arrived they were all big matches and I feel bad when you only have to use the blackboard.

"The clash between agents? I tend to talk to the player, make them train well, then we are in the hands of the agents but they have to keep their heads on and the shirt counts, help their teammate, only Napoli counts. To Kvara, to the other (Victor Osimhen) when he returns, I will say the same things. When you enter through that gate only the shirt counts, the rest isolates me and doesn't interest me.

"Someone told me not to hold a conference, but I'm sticking to it. I didn't come when we won, however, but I always showed up. I'm not hiding, it's a special moment and I know how people are, I ask for a little help at the stadium.
