Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reluctant to see Anthony Martial sold this summer.

The Manchester Evening News says Mourinho could yet keep Martial.

The France star may quit the club this summer, having fallen down the pecking order following Sanchez's arrival.

Martial's agent recently opened the door to an exit, saying: “After thinking about all the factors and possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United.

“There are lots of factors, and right now it's too early to talk about them.

“Manchester United want Anthony to extend his deal and do not want him to leave but we have not reached an agreement for several months."

Yet if Martial stays, Mourinho may deploy him on the right.

That would ensure the youngster and Alexis Sanchez can both fit into the same side.
