Man City striker Aguero plans Independiente return

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero hopes to play for Independiente again before he retires.

The Argentine marksman has been a revelation since arriving in Europe, starring for Atletico Madrid and Manchester City.

In a recent interview, Aguero spoke about his return to the Argentina national team, and his ambitions of playing club football in the country before he calls it quits.

The 30-year-old, who managed 21 Premier League goals this term, said the following to reporters: "I always try [to get back to Argentina].

"I know what the fans [of Independiente] want, but I have a contract with City and I try to focus on these two years I've got left.

"Then I'll see what I'll do but of course, the Rojo [Independiente] is my priority."
