Manchester City fullback Joao Cancelo has revealed his desire to one day return to Benfica.

The Portugal international came through the ranks at Benfica before leaving for Valencia in 2015.

Cancelo has since gone on to play for Juventus and City, where he played a vital role in their Premier League title win this season.

He told Gazzetta Dello Sport: "I would like to finish at Benfica.

"It is the team where I started to get serious and the club that I have always supported.

"I am a Benfiquista at heart. One day I hope to wear that shirt again. For now, I enjoy Manchester City."
