Blackburn Rovers are yet to make a formal offer for Liverpool defender Ben Davies.

Rovers hold an interest in Davies, but are yet to submit a bid.

Davies is exploring his options this summer after being left out of Liverpool's pre-season tour of Asia.

It's understood the defender would prefer a permanent move away from Anfield but would accept a loan depending on the proposal and other factors such as style of play, says Lancs Live.

Burnley are also keen on the stopper, who spent last season on-loan with Sheffield United.
