Independiente coach Carlos Tevez has opened the door to signing Sergio Aguero.

The Manchester City legend has declared he could make a playing return after three years out due to a heart attack suffered while with Barcelona.

Aguero's cardiologist is close to giving him the green light to resume playing and a move to Independiente has been mooted.

Tevez said: "Who wouldn't want Kun Agüero in his team?

"If he wants to, he is welcome. How could I not call him and invite him?"
