Calum Scanlon is excited about his move to Liverpool.

Liverpool have snapped up 15-year-old England youth international Scanlon from Birmingham City.

Scanlon, who can play either in defence or midfield, revealed that the transfer was complete on his Instagram account this week and is set to compete for the U16s and U18s.

He wrote on Instagram this week: “Happy to sign with @liverpoolfc.

“A big thank you to @bcfc and everyone who has helped me progress to this point, but as of today I start a new chapter. The hard work continues, let's go! #ynwa."
