Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke expects Inter Milan midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri to join Schalke.

The Switzerland international has been linked with BVB in recent days.

However, Watzke believes Shaqiri will eventually join Schalke.

"I have heard that he goes to Schalke 04 ... However, I think that we already have a team that makes us feel very calm," he said.

Shaqiri's agent has also stated in the last 24 hours that Schalke is the only club they're in talks with.
