Blackburn boss Tomasson unsure of Everton, Leeds target Brereton Diaz staying

Blackburn Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson says Ben Brereton Diaz has not asked to leave the club this summer.

The highly-sought after striker has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs.

The Chile international scored 22 goals in the Championship for Blackburn last season, and has started the new campaign in fine form. Everton and AFC Bournemouth are among those rivalling Leeds for the 23-year-old.

“I think if you look at us and other clubs it is the same issue," Tomasson told Lancs Live. "I have spoken a lot about Ben (Brereton Diaz), which is fine because he is great.

“I am impressed that he is so stable. Let's see what kind of amount comes, if they are coming.

“No (he has never asked to go). He is only focused on Rovers and not the surroundings."
