Barcelona are interested in Real Zaragoza prospect Alejandro Monserrate.

The 17 year-old is rated the jewel of Zaragoza's academy.

Better known as 'Jano', the youngster plays as a No8 and a No10. He is left-footed and stands out for his vision of the game and his precision with the ball at his feet and in the last few metres. He has a good last pass and also the ability to find the goal.

He currently plays in the División de Honor juvenil.

Real Madrid, Villarreal and Atlético de Madrid, in addition to Barça, are all very aware of his progress.
