Arsenal and Benfica could be about to play the first leg of their Europa League tie at a neutral venue due to travel restrictions between the two countries.
The UK's PM Boris Johnson stated travellers going back to the UK from "red list" countries would have to quarantine for ten days from the airport.
Portugal is on that list, and sporting athletes will not be exempt, which means the Gunners would have to quarantine for ten days if they went to Lisbon and returned.
The game is on Feb 18th, and a neutral venue may be the only option.
The Gunners have Premier League games against Manchester City on Feb 21st and Leicester City on Feb 27th, which they could not afford to have postponed or forfeited.
