AC Milan are ready to hand Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new contract.

Despite his fitness problems this season, Milan are happy to extend the 40 year-old striker's deal another year.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan want Ibrahimovic to play on next season and aims to convince him with a bumper offer.

Milan will offer Ibrahimovic a 12-month deal worth €2m plus bonuses and potentially a signing on bonus.

Stefano Pioli would also be open to offering the Swede a role on his staff in the future.
