Chelsea great Gianfranco Zola is unsurprised Ruben Loftus-Cheek is being likened to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Milan coach Stefano Pioli made the comparison after the midfielder's brace in victory over Rennes this week.

Zola told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's all there. Milinkovic remains stronger in the head, he shoots with more conviction.

"But Ruben takes another step, he's even faster and more dynamic.

"Potentially he is a great player and if he finds continuity by protecting himself from injuries he is a true top player. One of those who allow you to make a huge leap in quality: he breaks the balance, the man jumps, physically very strong."
