Bradley Wright-Phillips scored his 11th goal of the 2014 MLS season as New York Red Bulls drew 1-1 with Sporting Kansas City on Tuesday.
The former Southampton, Manchester City and Charlton Athletic striker scored in the 50th minute as the Red Bulls drew level following Toni's ninth-minute opener for the reigning champions.
Wright-Phillips' goal saw him take the outright lead in the race for the MLS Golden Boot as New York took their record to three wins, six draws and five losses which saw them move up to sixth on the Eastern Conference table.
