Wolves striker Fabio Silva impressed by Burnley hat-trick ace Chris Wood

Wolves striker Fabio Silva says they must stick together after Sunday's dismal 4-0 defeat to Burnley.

The striker came off the bench midway through the second period.

He later said, “The team has to rest now and think about the game because it's difficult when you are losing 3-0 so quickly and you have to think about that.

“After in the second-half, it's difficult to come onto a pitch after you've lost the first-half 3-0. It's impossible to give this advantage to Burnley, and even after that, it's difficult to try and come back.

“But I think the spirit is the same; like a pack. We have to stick together, forget this game and think about the next game."

Silva also praised Burnley striker Chris Wood for his hat-trick.

He added: “For a striker, I think the best thing is scoring goals. It's about staying motivated and these goals give confidence to help you help the team. But it's not only about the goals, but about the work that the individuals give the team.

“Congratulations to Wood, I think he's a good player, and congratulations for his hat-trick because it's good for a striker to score."
