Wolves striker Cunha: Halftime chat sparked winning fight-back at Bournemouth

Wolves striker Matheus Cunha was full of praise for his teammates after their win at Bournemouth.

The visitors came from a goal down to win 2-1.

Goalscorer Cunha said, “I'm so happy about the victory. It was a big game today because we know in our situation we need to keep winning. These three points against Bournemouth are very important for us and put us in a good situation. We keep going every single game. I hope we can keep together, and the victories keep coming.

“We talked a lot in the [changing] room. I think we did some mistakes in the first half, and we had opportunities. Second half, sure, the red card helped us, and I think we were more prepared to take the chances. Sometimes you need a little bit more to change the game and I think we did it today and I'm so happy.

“We had the capacity to change the game and we believe in the group, every single player, the staff, the coach, this is the most important thing for us. The group is together, to do something like that and change the game."
