Wolves fullback Jonny was delighted to feature for Spain in their 4-1 win in Wales.

Jonny, on-loan at Wolves from Atletico Madrid, has also just become a father.

"It has been a very nice week for me, being a father was very nice and debuting on this field, with these teammates who made everything easy for me from the beginning, it is a great joy," he said.

"Of course I am surprised by the call, but it is clear that the coach rated me. He knows that I can play in any defensive position, and that for me is also a good thing.

"He brought me and I can only train hard in each training session and show why he brought me in. And now I must keep working to improve."
