Wolves will not have Willian Jose available for Wednesday's visit to Chelsea.
The striker signed for Wolves from Real Sociedad last week, but work permit issues are holding up the transfer.
"It's just a matter of time and everything will be OK," Wolves boss Nuno confirmed in a pre-match press conference.
"We are just waiting for the work permit as that gives you an exception on quarantine, as long he tests negative in Spain.
"We are pleased because I think he can help us and bring things to the team.
"He's a different player than what we already have. He has experience and is a finisher, a scorer. He can really help the team."
