West Ham star Jarrod Bowen admits that playing for England is a dream come true.
The 25-year-old winger made his first senior bow for the Three Lions in the 1-0 loss to Hungary last month.
Despite the poor result, and their indfiferent form in the Nations League, Bowen could not hide his delight at being an England international.
He said "Obviously it was good to get the England call up and I didn't know if I would play, it was just an experience, then to play it's like a dream come true.'
He added: "Playing for your country is always a special moment, to be at the World Cup we've got to see how this season goes, I'd love it'
"I'd be lying to say if I hadn't thought about playing in the World Cup during the off season."
