West Ham United believe they will get a steep discount on James Ward-Prowse.
The Southampton captain has been on the market ever since the club's relegation to the Championship.
While the Saints were initially expecting to gain around £40 million from his sale, no such bids have come through.
There is interest from the likes of West Ham and Aston Villa, but not near the level Southampton were expecting.
Now West Ham believe, per The Mail, that they can secure Ward-Prowse for around half that figure.
If they can get him for around £20 million, manager David Moyes would love to add him into his midfield.
