West Ham seat mix-up frustrates family of Man Utd target Oxford

Reece Oxford's family believed they were treated poorly during West Ham United's EFL Cup clash with Accrington Stanley on Wednesday.

The mother of the 17-year-old young gun, Youmna, and other family members were sat next to away fans at the London Stadium in what has been described as a move to single out the family.

Oxford, who is being heavily linked with Manchester United, is yet to sign a new contract with the Hammers and it is felt that the decision to place them near Stanley supporters is some sort of punishment.

The Daily Mail report suggests that Youmna complained to venue staff before being moved to the disabled section, prior to finding other player's relatives in the hospitality area.

It is understood that that Oxford family are unhappy with the treatment but West Ham suggest that the general admission tickets of the players are now placed all over the London Stadium rather than being grouped together as they were at Upton Park.
