West Ham United are entering into talks with RB Salzburg regarding defender Rasmus Kristensen.

David Moyes is hopeful of adding the full back to his squad in the January transfer window.

Kristensen arrived from Ajax to Salzburg in the summer and has impressed.

The Hammers hope that a quick profit will convince RB Salzburg to sell, per the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old is 6ft 2in and very powerful.

He has played 15 games for Salzburg this term, including in the Champions League.

The Hammers are also close to signing midfielder Thomas Soucek from Slavia Prague.
