West Ham have joined the battle for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

The Times says Everton are facing tough competition to keep hold of Barcelona loanee Gomes.

Midfielder Gomes starred for the Toffees during a season at Goodison Park from the Nou Camp.

Barca are happy to allow Gomes to depart and Everton are keen to retain him, but West Ham are also in the race.

To make matters worse for the Merseyside club, Champions League finalists Tottenham are also interested.
