West Ham United have failed with a bumper offer for Wolves winger Matt Jarvis.

The London Evening Standard says West Ham have had a £9million bid for winger Jarvis rejected by Wolves but are expected to complete the signing of midfielder Alou Diarra from Marseille.

Wolves are holding out for £10m for Jarvis, who is also interesting Fulham. It is understood his former club, Gillingham, are entitled to 10 per cent of any transfer.
