West Ham, Everton circle Hertha Berlin as Muhammad Kiprit rejects pro terms

Hertha Berlin are battling to keep Muhammad Kiprit away from Premier League clubs.

Unlike several of his peers at Hertha, Kiprit has resisted penning pro terms so far this season.

The attacker remains on an amateur deal and his situation has alerted English up West Ham United and Everton, says Kicker.

Kiprit, a Turkey U19 international, is stalling on penning terms over concerns about his first team path at Hertha.

Hertha coach Pal Dardai said, "I've known him for a long time. He's still a bit shy with us, so he has not trained a lot with us yet. He is really dangerous for the youth team.

"He is good at holding the ball and scoring goals. Let's take a look at him."

Michael Preetz, the club's sporting director, also remarked: "We are in talks with him and his advisor, as is commonplace today, as we have the common future beyond the season, which will ideally also lead to professional football."
