West Ham defender Reece Oxford is enjoying his loan at FC Augsburg.

Oxford joined FCA on deadline day last month.

"I really like Germany and the Bundesliga. I was already able to get to know it last season and also experienced Augsburg when I played here with Gladbach. I already liked the stadium very much and then when the request came I was very happy," he said.

"I played a few minutes against Mainz (3:0) against Kiel (1:0) then from the beginning. That was an important experience for me and a nice bonus that we are now in the (German Cup) quarterfinals.

"But we could not implement our plan against Bremen, we have to work on that."
