West Ham defender Conor Coventry hopes to see action in the Carabao Cup tonight against Lincoln City.

Coventry had a short loan spell with Lincoln in 2020.

"It was a great experience for me at Lincoln," he told whufc.com. “It was my first loan, my first experience of real first team football.

“It's a good club with a really good following and fanbase, with good people there who made me feel welcome and helped me out.

“It was my first taste of league games and playing in front of fans, so looking back I took a lot from it.

“I know a few of the boys there and they have some really talented players. I know the way they want to play is in a good style and it will be a tough game. They've had a good start to the season so it should be a good test."
