West Ham defender Coufal: It's been a successful three years here

West Ham defender Vladimir Coufal was pleased with their clean sheet for victory over Sheffield United.

The Hammers won 2-0 on Saturday via goals from Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek.

“It was very important we finally kept a clean sheet in the Premier League," said Coufal. “It was with a little bit of luck in the second half because we did not play well in the second half, but we have the three points and the clean-sheet and that's all that matters now."

The Czech Republic defender will mark three years with the club this week and also told the Irons website: “The time has gone very, very quickly.

“Time is flying and I am three years older now. In the three years I've been here we've won the UEFA Europa Conference League, finished sixth and seventh in the Premier League, and played in Europe three years in a row, which is all very good. I've really enjoyed it."
