Hamburg face a battle to keep hold of striker Bobby Wood.
Though tied to HSV until 2020, Wood has just changed agents to Volker Struth as he prepares to explore his summer options.
Wood has been linked with West Ham and BILD says major interest is now arriving from England.
HSV chief Jens Todt stated: "I am always open to extending contracts prematurely with players who consistently perform well.
"It does not just have to concern Bobby.
"The change to Hamburg was good for us, but it was also the perfect step for Bobby. I can well imagine that he knows how good it is for him now."
