West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has praised his agent for alerting him to goalkeeper Adrian.
Allardyce wrote in the London Evening Standard: "In recruitment terms, it was Mark Curtis, the agent who represents me and others, who worked hard behind the scenes to make it possible.
"We followed that lead by going to watch Adrian and that was followed by Mark setting up meetings which ultimately clinched the deal during the summer.
"Contacts made by agents find you the players but then you have to have the recruitment knowledge."
