West Bromwich Albion remain keen on DC United goalkeeper Bill Hamid.
The Sunday Mercury says the club's main priority is signing Ben Foster on a permanent deal from neighbours Blues but with Marton Fulop leaving there is room for another stopper to provide competition.
Hamid is highly rated by Albion's recruitment team, who have kept a close eye on the 21-year-old after he impressed while on trial last year from MLS side DC United.
The departure of head-coach Roy Hodgson is unlikely to have a bearing on any possible move as technical and sporting director Dan Ashworth has been the man doing the groundwork.
