West Bromwich Albion defender Gareth McAuley was delighted to prove the matchwinner in victory over Chelsea.
The Baggies ended a 33-year wait for a league win over their West London rivals thanks to the big defender's 82nd-minute tap-in.
"It's a massive three points for us and it builds great confidence in the team to carry on now for the rest of the season. We're on the crest of a wave and confidence is high, and we just want to keep on that now.
"It was a great performance from the team and it was nice to get the clean sheet, but to get three points against a team like Chelsea was special.""Any goal is a big goal but it's special to score for the club at The Hawthorns and very nice to get a winner, especially against a club like Chelsea, who are knocking on the door of the Champions League," he told the WBA website.
