West Bromwich Albion are ambitiously planning to hijack Liverpool's pursuit of Faouzi Ghoulam.

Ghoulam enjoyed another solid campaign with Napoli last term and reports have claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp recently identified the 26-year-old as the ideal candidate to solve his side's problems at left-back.

However, Liverpool are likely to face competition in their pursuit to sign Ghoulam.
