Werder Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt is upbeat over their chances of keeping Max Kruse.

The 31 year-old striker is being linked with Tottenham, Inter Milan and Crystal Palace.

But Kohfeldt insists: "I think he'll come to me sometime in the next few weeks and say, 'Coach, let's move forward'.

"We have a clear timetable for both of us and know when to expect something from each other.

"He knows what he has here and what status he has for us."
