Premier League new-boys Brighton are chasing Werder Bremen defender Thomas Delaney.

The Denmark international, says BILD, will be the subject of a major bid from the Seagulls. Everton are also being linked with a move.

Werder chief Frank Bauman admits interest is arriving for Delaney.

"That's right. Of course, there is an interest in Thomas," Bauman revealed.

"We only picked him up half a year ago and we have sporting ambitions. Therefore, a sale is not a topic for us."
