Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was delighted with the manner of their 2-0 defeat of Aston Villa.

Guardiola has declared his City's players are producing title winning form.

While happy with six victories in a row, Guardiola was eager to highlight the performance of his team, declaring the display one for a title contender.

And the Manchester City manager insists it was a performance that proves they deserve to be among the contenders in the race for this season's Premier League title.
