Vincent Kompany is known for being a ruthless competitor on the pitch.

The Manchester City and Belgium captain has taken on and defeated some of the best strikers in world football during his illustrious career.

Such is his determination, the 29-year-old even pulled out a slide tackle in his five-year-old daughter Sienna after a match last season.

The footage below was taken after the 2-0 win over Southampton on the final day of the 2014/15 campaign when the City players had their children on the Etihad Stadium pitch with them.

Sienna takes the tackle fairly well too, not at all playing for a free-kick or penalty!
