Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar is proud of his 2012.
The former Feyenoord defender joined Villa over the summer after impressing for Holland.
"For me it was a good year. I've made some steps in the Oranje," says Vlaar.
"At Aston Villa, no-one is panicking. We're playing well and the results will come. We're calm."
