Aston Villa striker Darren Bent says he would love to emulate the great film character Rocky Balboa during his clubs pre-season tour of the US.
The West Midlands club are first headed to Philadelphia to take on the Union on July 18, before meetings with Chicago Fire on Saturday the 21st and Portland Timbers on Tuesday the 24th, and Bent is excited about making the trip.
The England international admits he is keen to head to the Philadelphia Museum of Art so he can climb the steps made famous by Sylvester Stallone's character Rocky in the 1970s hit film as he is a big fan of the boxing movie series.
"I love a bit of Rocky. I used to love the films when I watched them regularly five or six years ago. They were tremendous," he told Villa's official website.
"It would be nice to do the Rocky Steps - the whole run through the town, up the stairs and then give it the whole celebration stuff at the top from the film.
"It would be great to see those kinds of landmarks certainly because that's not something I have done before."
And Bent is also looking forward to heading back to the States as it is one of his favourite places to visit.
"I can't wait for it. I love America. I go on holiday to the USA every year and try different places," he added.
"It's somewhere I am passionate about. So when I initially found out we were going across the pond I was delighted.
"I love American sport too, of course. There are the Bulls in Chicago where we're going. They're not my team though.
"I support the Cleveland Cavaliers but I am friends with Derrick Rose who plays for the Bulls."
