Former Rosario Central coach Adrian Dezotti has lavished praise on Alejo Veliz.

The Tottenham youngster, who arrived from Rosario for around £13 million in August, is very much one for the future.

He is back at Rosario on loan, where he scored 11 goals in 23 league games last term.

Speaking to The Athletic, Dezotti stated: “I watch a lot of English football and there is no other Premier League player who has the aerial game that Alejo has.

“It's incredible."

Spurs fans will be hoping that he can eventually fill the void left by the departure of talisman Harry Kane.
