Valencia are continuing talks with Tottenham over the signing of Bryan Gil.

The 21-year-old was impressive on loan with Valencia in La Liga during the second half of last season.

However, there has been no agreement on a permanent sale between the two clubs.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Valencia are very eager to secure Gil in the coming weeks.

One complication is that fellow Spanish side Real Sociedad are also set to make a bid.

Spurs will be happy to create a bidding war and push up the price for Gil, who has no future at the club.
