UNCOVERED: What Pep said to Liverpool ace Salah - via lipreader

Manchester City and Liverpool's recent clash has drawn the interest of a lip reader.

A professional who reads lips to see what was said in specific moments focused on an incident between Mohamed Salah and City boss Pep Guardiola.

The two had a discussion after Liverpool's 1-0 win over City, which involved several contentious refereeing decisions.

Professional lip reader John Cassidy, reports the Mirror, looked at the footage and believes that Guardiola told Salah: "Have a good season, good game, you too, what's up? [hidden behind Salah]... There's no doubt about it, not maybe - definite. It's definite, definite."

Guardiola was likely referencing the disallowed Man City goal, which had him irate during and after the game.

Phil Foden put the ball in the back of the net, but the goal was disallowed for a foul in the build up by Erling Haaland.
