Tottenham defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 on Sunday to extend their unbeaten streak to five matches.
Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the match to open his Premier League account, following on from his brace in the Europa League on Thursday, as Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs grabbed a second domestic win on the trot.
The victory saw the North Londoners move up to ninth on the table as Alan Pardew's Palace dropped to eighth after a second straight defeat.
MATCH OVERVIEW
Tottenham: 1 (Son Heung-min 68')

TALKING POINTS
- Are Spurs the slow burner of the league after a mediocre beginning? Can they push for top-five honours?
- Is a narrow defeat such as this merely a blip for Palace who only lost to Man City 1-0 last time out?
WHAT'S NEXT?
Tottenham meet arch rivals Arsenal in the Capital One Cup third round on Wednesday night before focusing their attention on the visit of City on Saturday while the Eagles host Charlton Athletic in cup duties prior to their trip to Watford on Sunday.
